Weekly Tournament Part 5

Why you should always play the Weekly Tournament.

This post has a much different opinion to this one

1. The Weekly Tournament is free.

2. You have gained skill and experience from regular tournaments.

3. You can enter and leave the Weekly Tournament anytime you want.

4. The more chips you take, the easier it gets.

5. To see your name higher on the win list than your friends.

6. You can potentially make millions from the Weekly Tournament payout.

7. You now receive a notification of your Weekly Tournament payout winnings on time.

8. The payout is now given to you quicker.

9. The payout seems to be close, or equal to the amount you make in the tournament.

10. You can play tighter because the blinds don't raise as quickly as a sit n go tourneys.

11. You get a chance to see some crazy hands like 4-of-a-kind, straight flushes, and full houses beating smaller full houses.

12. You are awarded for placing within the top 10% of all players entered.

13. You can complete the Weekly Warriors Challenge. If you and 5 of your poker buddies place in the top 5%, you will win 100,000 chips.

14. Did I mention that the Weekly Tournament is FREE??

Legend (I know you know, but some people might not)
Tourneys = Tournaments
K = Amount of chips x 1000
Buy-in = the amount you have to pay to enter a tournament
Place = Finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd
Sit n go = A type of tournament. The 1st 9 people to buy in can play.
Weekly Tournament Payout = The amount of chips awarded for placing in a tournament.
Playing tighter = Folding a lot

  1. Very interesting series of posts about the weekly tournament.
    I enjoyed reading them, and you're other posts.
    I'm trying to understand if this is one of the more successful money revenues for Zynga. What do you think?

    Best Regards

  2. Thanks Kobi.
    I'm a bit of a stats guy. So I want to see how many total players bought back in after losing, their average amount of re-buys per week (@$2.95US per re-buy), Then I would compare last years figures to their 2008 figures.

  3. Nonsense, you can make more money playing on actual tables if you're going to play as tight as a tournament player. You'll never get paid more then 1m in tournament, unless the pot is massive and you're 3rd or 4th ranked in the world. Just playing on the tables you can make 58m in a day. I made 97m just playing on tables in a day, just make sure you go higher and higher stakes.

    I've made seven zeroes in one day as well. But I am curious. Now that a few months have gone by, tell me(honestly)how many chips you have now?
